Students of II PUC of Prestige P U college on 26th November enjoyed the day making it a sizzling and a memorable one with their besties, friends and Mentors.
In Association with “Lions Club” Mangalore, a Career guidance programme was conducted in Prestige P U College auditorium for students.
We had “Ronald Pinto” as the resource person. Principal, mentors and students appreciated his talk as he instilled the importance on various career options offered in educational field – from science to commerce.
Students had a positive thought as an interest in any particular stream and a passion towards it can definitely make a huge impact on all our career lives.

The above quote gained its importance on Thursday 10th November at Prestige P U College, as the students of commerce had a session on ‘World Accounting Day’. A senior accountant Mr.Dinesh Kamath presided to this occasion and threw light on various topics related to accounts and its future scopes.
On 22nd Saturday 2022 PRESTIGE P U COLLEGE solemnized its Annual Sports meet.
College Chairperson Mr.Hyder Ali K, M D Mrs.Reshma Hyder Ali, Trustee Mr.Syed Faizal, CBSE Principal Mrs. Feroza Fayaz and PU Principal Mrs. Sindhu Sedhu, PU students and mentors, along with a special chief guest “Mr.Sachin Suvarna”, who is presently Karnataka Senior Kabaddi Captain – added a sparkle to “Prestige Annual Sports Meet”.
The day began with a grand march of welcoming the guest & dignitaries by the students followed with a prayer song by I science students, hoisting of Prestige flag, Oath taking ceremony and inauguration with releasing of balloons –were mark of the day.
Guest of honour’s motivational speech followed with a stimulating and encouraging speech of our Chairman – Mr.Hyder Ali and Principal Sindhu Sedhu were commendable. Vote of thanks with a felicitation to the chief guest Mr.Sachin Suvarna, by the dignitaries were culmination of the day.
The day continued with top notch of Prize distribution.
Later a series of group sports applauded the students. Inter class final Kabaddi, Cricket and football were the highlight of the day. Fun and frolic added when finals of girls laggori, boys & girls shot put followed with tug of war, wear the peak events.
The annual sports meet vesper with valedictory wave when our sport secretary Siham of II science handed over the Prestige flag to the Principal in a word of honour to retrieve the next year in yet another Annual Sports meet 2023-24

On 16th July, PRESTIGE PU COLLEGE celebrated its first
cultural event of the year 2022-23 “The Fresher’s Day”. The II
PUC students welcomed the juniors for their beautiful
journey of a new phase of life.
Fresher’s along with their seniors got chance to exhibit their
talents.
The party organised with mixed feeling of emotions like
warmth, happiness, laugh and excitement.

Uplifting the awareness of blood donation, students of grade 6 A and B had conducted an assembly on the topic “Give Blood and save life“. The assembly commenced with the prayer followed by value and thought for the day. The students enacted a drama to show the significance of donating blood and how it can help to save life. They also sang a motivational song on importance of blood donation. The assembly was concluded by our principal sharing her words of wisdom who spoke about the importance of Blood Donation to the society.

PRESTIGE PU COLLEGE organised Parent and student orientation on 4th July at Prestige Auditorium.
Protrusive of the programme was the prayer song by students. Miss Aruna Kulal,Kannada faculty honoured the gathering, Maths preceptor Mrs Rashmi Naik instilled the importance of collegiate year with the scrutiny of academics and also spoke on the disciplinary reforms of exam.
College rules and regulations were given out by the commerce mentors Mr.Hareesh Kumar and Mr.Namrez Ahmed.
Later it was the student career guidance councellor Mr Shameer Ahmed spoke on the importance of education with students and parents.
To add up with P U principal threw light on a detailed report on P U academics , activities of the year 2022-23 and also introduced the faculty and management to the parents.
The orientation adduced with our esteemed Chairman Mr.Hyder Ali K, who stimulated the parents in supporting their wards in their academics and to play a key role in moulding their career.
Mrs. Sujaya Shetty , Hindi faculty proposed vote of thanks and Mrs.Sharmila Kishore Raj was M.C for the day.

PRESTIGE PU COLLEGE organised a programme on planting of trees on June 6th marking the importance of “World Environmental Day” Which is been celebrated on June 5th every year, following with the theme of the year “Only one Earth”.
Motto of this celebration was to generate awareness of the environment and nature to the students. Later students’ actively participated in essay writing, pick and speak and other various activities.
